Back to London again for something for the weekend. This time RSA Animate: a series that was conceived by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) to quite literally illustrate their program of public lectures on world-changing ideas. Watching these videos is like witnessing an oxymoron, an incredibly articulate and meaningful whiteboard session. Here is the visualisation of Jeremy Rifkin’s talk on how empathy is embedded into civilisation. Also given the RSA Animate treatment are talks on The Divided Brain by the psychiatrist Iain McGilchrist and The 21st Century Enlightenment with Chief Executive of the RSA Matthew Taylor.
